Abstract:
IBM PC DOS 6.3 has been designed for all types of users who need an efficient single tasking personal computer operating system. It incorporates many new utilities such as anti-virus software, comprehensive backup programs, PCMCIA support and DOS Pen extensions. Also incorporated are new features to enhance the available memory and disk space.
This publication describes the PC DOS 6.3 features and provides additional technical information and background material to a reader with some previous knowledge of DOS. This publication builds on the previous PC DOS 6.1 publication. It also provides additional information and background material relating to the features and functions found in PC DOS 6.3. There is also a chapter of comparison information regarding PC DOS 6.3, DR DOS 6.0 and MS-DOS 6.2 commands and features.
