Aptiva - How to register for PC411
Applicable to: United States
To register to PC411:
1. Click on Start, Programs, Aptiva Productivity, and then PC411.
2. The Welcome to PC411 screen will appear, this explains your free and fee options. Click on Register to register the program.
3. A registration screen will appear asking to click on either First Time Registration, Install on an additional computer, Help, or Cancel. Click on First Time Registration.
4. At the Welcome to PC411 screen, fill in all information, copy the serial number down and remember your password.
5. The next screen that appears is the modem dialog box. The settings should be IBM Aptiva Mwave Modem and Com 1. Click on OK once you are done.
6. At the PC411 registration, there is a screen with the license agreement. To proceed with the program, you have to type your password and then type AGREE, and then hit OK. Write down your user ID and you can now use PC411. You must type AGREE to continue with the program.
Note: After registration to PC411, the modem will connect and send your registration. After completion, the modem disconnects from PC411. Therefore, after entering information for a search, it will redial into PC411
