TP General - Mwave 2.24 installation support for Windows 3.1x

To obtain the necessary diskettes, click here.
To install Mwave 2.24 for Windows 3.1x, follow these simple steps:
1.) Insert Mwave disk 1 into the floppy drive.
2.) Click on File, then Run, and type a:\setup and click on OK.
3.) You will be asked where you want to install the drivers. Click on OK to accept the default.
4.) You will get a message saying that no MIDI Wave samples were found. Click on OK to continue.
5.) When prompted, remove the diskette from the floppy drive and click on Yes to restart the computer.
Changes the installation makes to your system
It will add a folder to Program Manager titled Mwave ThinkPad. Inside of that folder you will have the following icons:

View Connectors
Mwave Help
Mwave Modem
Country Selection
Modem Command Reference
Mwave Quick Test
Audio Control
The installation adds the following lines to your autoexec.bat file:
C:\WINDOWS\SMARTDRV.EXE
SET MWPATH=C:\MWW\DLL;C:\MWW\MWGAMES;C:\MWW\DSP
REM The following is used by DOS games to recognize Sound Blaster hardware.
REM If hardware settings are changed, please change this line as well.

REM The CALL MWAVE START statement needs to be the last line in the autoexec.bat

It also appends C:\MWW; to the SET PATH = statement in your autoexec.bat file
The installation adds the following lines to your config.sys file:
