PS/1 - Can I connect a Color VGA Display to my PS/1 Model 2011-M01 or -M34?

Yes. However, to connect a non-PS/1 color VGA display (15-pin D-shell), the signal cable from the color display AND the power lead from your original monochrome display must be connected to your system unit. Without the power from your original display, your system unit will not function. It is not necessary to have the "chip" on the system unit changed for the color display. All PS/1 2011s have color VGA card circuitry integrated into the system board.
