MM55 and MM75 Monitors - Audio connection requires Aptiva 2140/2142 system

The MM55 and MM75 Monitors have been acoustically designed and fine tuned for the Aptiva L Series (machine type 2140) and Aptiva S Series (machine type 2142). These systems have built-in circuitry which optimizes the sound quality of the integrated Bose Speakers.
These monitors were designed with a unique audio connection system that prevents users from connecting them to systems other than the Aptiva L Series (machine type 2140) and Aptiva S Series (machine type 2142). These monitors MUST be attached to one of these supported systems to ensure an optimum sound experience.
If one of these monitors is attached to an unsupported system, only the video, microphone and USB cables can be connected. NO SOUND WILL BE HEARD THROUGH THE MONITOR SPEAKERS. In addition, the video, microphone and USB port may be affected.
