TP 380,385,560,760 - Windows 95 Recovery CD error when restoring via Parallel Port Disctec CD-ROM Drive

SYMPTOM:
On 760 models without an internal CD, the boot diskette supplied with the recovery CD (that ships in the box) may fail. The failure is after the selection is made for using the parallel Disctec drive, it is from the reload program itself. Error: "error in unpacking the compressed file". The error is displayed within the blue reload program screen.
CONFIGURATION:
Early ThinkPad 560, 380, 760XD/XL models with Windows 95 OSR2 Preload.
SOLUTION:
A new diskette has been released.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
DOS Error messages such as "drive not ready, abort retry, fail" etc... are NOT related to this problem, and should be dealt with in the usual manner.
