IBM will pay for parts & labour related to Three Year Express Warranty coverage
for the System Board consistent with terms and conditions in the IBM Statement
of Limited Warranty that comes with the system.
The System Board emcompasses the following IBM factory installed parts:
Planar Board
Processor Chip (CPU)
Math Co-processor
OverDrive processor
Video Chip
System Memory (RAM)
Video Memory (VRAM), and
Cache Memory
Other Hardware
IBM will pay 1 year parts, labour and courier costs for the remaining IBM factory
installed hardware consistent with the terms of first year Express Warranty
coverage.
Software Warranty
IBM warrants the media (CD) will be free from defects for 90 days. Otherwise,
programs are provided 'AS IS'.
"Up and running" support to restore software to the IBM pre-loaded environment
will be provided free of charge for 60 days from the date of the customers
first call into the PC Support Line.
