Aptiva-PS/1- Deselecting highlighted text in Microsoft Works
Applicable to: World-Wide
To deslect highlighted text press any ARROW key on your cursor pad. If you press [ENTER] after highlighting text within the Works word processor, the selected text is deleted and a paragraph mark is inserted at the beginning of the deleted text. If you press any other key, the highlighted text is deleted and that character is inserted. If you unintentionally delete text, select "Undo" from the Edit menu. This process only can be done if no editing action has taken place after deleting the text.
