IBM ValuePoint - Hang on Flash BIOS update
Applicable to: World-Wide
Symptom:
1. Cannot update Flash code on Value Point 6382Mxx, 6384Mxx or 6384Wxx machines.
2. Whilst running the Flash update program, the system hangs and does not complete the update.
3. Displayed on the screen is a series of dots that start to go across the display, but halt before completion.
Problem Isolation Aids:
When updating the Flash the system hangs and is only recoverable by rebooting.
