Aptiva - Rapid Resume and Canon Printer

PROBLEM: After installing drivers for Canon LPB-460 printer, Rapid Resume fails to run.
SYMPTOM: System fails to use Rapid Resume.
FIX:
1) Open Control Panel.
2) Open Power Applet.
3) The Power Management field (1st field) should be set to "none".
4) Using pull down menu, choose "advanced".
This resets the system to use power managment.
EXPLANATION: The Canon drivers reset or turn off the power applet in Windows 95.
