Service Director/2 - Known Problems With Current Release

Service Information:
The following is a list of known problems with the 4.11 release of SD/2. This list will be updated on a periodic basis
to reflect changes.
1. Sleep mode hangs doing auto backup/optimize. Do not schedule auto backup/optimize. Use SDINSTAL for this.
2. After migrating database to the new release, the PSA version will not reflect the proper release. To fix, reinstall all needed PSA's AGAIN AFTER the database has been restored.
3. If any changes were made to the old INITLU2 file, these changes will have to be carried forward to the new file. Verify that your change still applies.
4. Backup/Optimize from the 'Setup/Backup-Optimize' pulldown will fail during optimize with NO error indications. Use the Install diskette to do ALL backup/optimize activity.
5. CETEXT will NOT be sent on a 10-day call in. The SD/2 does not process it. It WILL be sent on problem open, close, or
update ONLY. When the code is fixed, we will enable the CETEXT on 10-day call in again. It will NOT be sent on a URSF link test.
6. There may be a discrepancy in the RED colored events and the number of alerts in the New Service Alerts Exists icon.
Development is looking into this.
7. The option to RESTORE the database, if started from the object on the desktop will not work. Use SDINSTAL from the Installation diskette to restore.
8. The Branch Office SD/2 should not be upgraded to 4.10 until ALL field reporting machines have been upgraded. The 4.00
BOSD will handle the 4.10 databases.
9. If the SD/2 drops DTR when CD comes on, the modem block may be defective. Try another block or contact Atlanta for help
10. The Host Download Log may not show HISTORY files for NJE defined hosts although they are getting received and processed.
