The Playlist function should remember the selected tracks if you eject the CD and reinsert while AudioStation is still running. To recreate, create a Playlist for an audio CD in AudioStation, NOTE: DO NOT include Track-1 on the CD. Eject the CD, while leaving AudioStation running. Reinsert the same audio CD, press play. AudioStation CD player inconsistent behavior with DVD discs.

If AudioStation CD Player is already launched and a DVD disc is inserted into the drive, AudioStation reports 'No Disc' and an attempt to play it results in the message that 'there is no disc in the drive'. If however the DVD disc is in the drive already and the user makes an attempt to launch AudioStation CD player, the message states that 'the CD Drive is in use'.
Answer / Workaround:
This is a result of the messages which Windows95 sends to the CDPlayer. There is no functional difference, only that the user may not understand the messages being given.
