Aptiva - 2161/2162 Diagnostic CD fails to boot
Applicable to: AP-S
There have been some reports that sometimes the Diagnostic CD fails to boot on these machines.
This problem can be resolved by creating a BOOTDISK from the CD.
The following commands need to be typed at the command prompt -
Change directory to the Diagnostics CD.
G: [enter]
loaddskf aptutils.img a: [enter]
The machine can be rebooted from the diskette to use the CD.
