Aptiva - 2156 Removals and replacements - Top cover

To remove the top cover of this system unit:
1. Remove the screws at the back of the system unit that secure the top cover.
2. Hold on the upper brim of the front cover, and pull it toward the back about 2 centimeters away.
3. Lift the top cover upward and remove it completely.
4. Touch the bare metal frame of your computer unit to dissipate the static electricity from your body. Do not touch any component with a voltage warning label.
5. Disconnect the system unit power cord.
