IBM PC140 - EMEA hardware/software compatibility

Hardware Compatibility
IBM PC 140 hardware is designed to maintain compatibility with adapters, and devices which fully support the following interfaces and physically fit into the system. IBM PC 140 will be tested with the following adapters and devices plus additional IBM and OEM hardware for compatibility.
For adapters/options that are not included in the compatibility test list, the user should contact the manufacturer or place of purchase to validate compatibility.

In order to use the two serial I/O ports simultaneously, devices connected to the serial ports must have a small 9-pin connector, other wise there is not enough space. For devices that do not provide a small 9-pin connector, IBM has available an optional adapter cable part number 68X3873.
