What is the "Text" option in the "File Save As" dialog box in Microsoft Works?
Answer:
The "Text" option saves your document as an ASCII file with a carriage return and line feed at the end of each paragraph. This is useful when you want to create a file to be used by programs other than Microsoft(R) Works.
Under this option, spreadsheets and databases are saved in form. Fields and cells that contain formulas or functions will be saved at their current values. The actual formulas or functions will not be saved.
