TP General - 3Com Combo card and CardBus Card in a docking station/port replicator may not work after suspend and resume

Symptom:
A 3Com Combo card and CardBus Card does not work after the computer is put into suspend mode from the Windows Start menu button and then normal operation is resumed. If the Fn+F4 key combination or closing the lid is used to suspend, the cards work properly.

Configuration:
A 3Com Combo or a CardBus in a docking station or a port replicator attached to a ThinkPad.


Workaround:
Use Fn+F4 or closing the lid to suspend. Or use the PC card in your system PC Card slot
