Aptiva - 2163/2164 Considerations - Speakerphone audio quality is poor

Description:
Speaker Phone Quality is very bad. Voice clips off at normal conversational volumes at remote end of connection.
NOTE: This has been fixed by a hardware EC to CIS and GVC modem cards for all production units.
Models affected:
2163 and 2164
How to duplicate:
1. Start Ring Central
2. Call from telephone to RingCentral.
3. Try communication.
4. Ring Central side can hear the Voice but Telephone side hears distorted (i.e. clipped) sound which is Microphone input sound.
Root cause:
Improper attenuation of speaker phone mic circuit on the modem card/planar.
Workaround:
Fixed by H/W EC to GVC and CIS modems for all production systems.
