Aptiva - How to install / uninstall Mech Warrior 2

Follow these steps after enabling the AutoPlay feature:
1. From the Windows95 desktop, place the MechWarrior2 CD into the CD-ROM drive.
2. A MechWarrior 2 menu comes up after a short while. Click on install here
3. At the MechWarrior 2 and NetMech setup program dialog box, click on next
4. At the choose destination location dialog box, click on next to select the default directory path, which should be
C:\PROGRAM FILES\ACTIVISION\MECH21
5. At the select a setup type dialog box, recommended is the setup type which should be highlighted. If not, highlight it. Then click on next.
6. At the Net Mech agreement dialog box, read the license agreement, then click on next
7. Please choose yes or no from the install Net Mech dialog box which appears next, concerning the eight-player networkable version of MechWarrior 2.
8. At the Activision Electronic Registration dialog box, click on register now
9. Fill all information for registration and choose to send by modem or print and mail or fax in.
10. After all registration is complete, a MechWarrior 2 setup complete dialog box appears, click on OK. Now you are able to play the game.
To uninstall / remove Mech Warrior 2 from your Aptiva:
1. From the Windows95 desktop, double click on the Aptiva Installer icon
2. Click on the show installed programs tab
3. Click on Mech Warrior 2 icon to highlight it and then click on uninstall
4. At the confirm file deletion screen, click on yes
5. At the remove programs from your computer dialog box, click on OK Mech Warrior 2 is now off of your hard disk
