Aptiva - 2144/2168 (SL-H) Considerations: Communication Center icon appears not to work

Situation:
When a user brings up the Aptiva Communication Center for the first time, he or she is asked to register. If he or she decides not to register, and instead closes this window, the Aptiva Communication Center disappears. If the user then double-clicks on the icon again, nothing happens. The Aptiva Communication Center icon appears to not work. This also may occur when the user has inadvertently hidden the Aptiva Communication Center icon.
Explanation:
Normally, when you double-click on an icon of an open program, the attached program is brought to the foreground. Double-clicking on the Aptiva Center icon does not bring its attached executable back into focus. This common feature was not included in the program.
Response to customer:
To bring back up the Aptiva Communication Center, do a "Ctrl" + "Esc" or an "Alt" + "Tab". The already running Communication Center should then appear in the foreground.
