Aptiva - MIDI mixer setting is not working

The Aptiva 2139 and 2153 computers come with the S-YXG50 software wavetable MIDI synthesizer application from Yamaha. This synthesizer replaces the FM MIDI synthesizer of the Crystal audio card, resulting in better sounding MIDI playback. Because of the way this program is designed, the MIDI volume is adjusted using the WAV mixer setting instead of the MIDI setting.
