TP General - The system reboots if a PC Card is inserted into a docking station or a port replicator.
Applicable to: World-Wide
Symptom:
When a PC card is inserted while the computer is in suspend mode, the computer reboots automatically.
Configuration:
A ThinkPad attaches to a docking station or a port replicator.
Workaround:
Disable the suspend while dock option by ThinkPad Configuration utility program.
Additional information:
If you are using Card Works for PC Card service, there is no solution available right now. IBM is working on the solution with SystemSoft.
