Aptiva - OS/2 Trap0002 error starting DOS/Windows apps
Applicable to: World-Wide
Symptom:
An OS/2 Trap0002 (memory parity fault) can occur when starting DOS or Windows applications under OS/2
Note: This tip only applies to SX models.
Problem Isolation Aid:
This fault can occur on systems with type "C-1" (SX) system boards with standard non-parity memory and jumper J50 in the "parity" position.
Fix:
Move jumper J50 to the rear-most position. J50 is located near the hardfile signal cable.
