Windows 95 - Setting up both Windows 95 and Cwin95 on the same system

Description :

Note: As Windows 95 (English version) and Cwin95 (Chinese version) use the \Program Files directory, Windows 95 and Cwin95 must be installed in different partitions in order to avoid the interaction.

After installing the Windows 95 and cwin95 (eg. Windows 95 in c:\windows and cwin95 in d:\cwin95),
1. attrib -s -h -r c:\msdos.sys
2. copy c:\msdos.sys c:\msdos.chi
3. copy c:\msdos.sys c:\msdos.eng
4. edit the msdos.eng and change the following setting to
WinDir=C:\Windows
WinBootdir=C:\Windows
HostWinBootDrv=C
5. edit the msdos.chi and change the following setting to
WinDir=D:\Windows
WinBootdir=D:\Windows
HostWinBootDrv=D
6. create a batch file (eg. cwin95.bat) in c:\ as follows:
attrib -s -h -r c:\msdos.sys
copy c:\msdos.chi c:\msdos.sys
7. create a batch file (eg. win95.bat) in c:\ as follows:
attrib -s -h -r c:\msdos.sys
copy c:\msdos.eng c:\msdos.sys
8. create a shortcut in the win95 and name it "Prepare to boot Win95". Then you can run this shortcut and reboot your Cwin95 to Win95.
9. create a shortcut in your win95 and name it "Prepare to boot Cwin95". Then you can run this shortcut and reboot your Win95 to Cwin95.
