Aptiva - Launchpad not working after Windows 95 upgrade

Symptom:
Customer has installed Windows 95 Aptiva upgrade - obtained via the upgrade voucher scheme. When customer attempts to use the Launchpad program, there appears a grey screen with a message :

You have installed Windows 95. Not all of the features of Launch Pad for windows 3.1 are available under Windows 95.

To obtain a Windows 95 upgrade with these features enabled, contact Berkeley Systems at:

Problem Isolation Aid:
None

Fix:
Launchpad is a third party application which is not designed to work under Windows 95. As the message suggests, the customer must contact the suppliers for a Windows 95 specific upgrade version.
