IBM 3153 ASCII Terminal Display - Supported screen formats

Information includes:

- number of pages support
The following can change the 3153 rows, columns and the number of pages:
- 3153 setup menus.
- Host (operating system, application)
Rows, columns and the number of pages is also dependent on the emulation (IBM 3151, WYSE 50, WYSE 60, DEC VT200)
IBM 3151 Emulation:
- Supports 24, 25, 28, 42, 43, 48, 50 rows in any combination of 80 or 132 columns.
WYSE 50, WYSE 60 Emulation:
- Supports 26, 30, 44, 52 row screen length combination of 80 or 132 columns.
The host operating system and host application can change 3153 row, column and number of pages. For example:
IBM 3151 Emulation:
- Create Viewport Command: changes row and columns
- Create Page Command: changes pages of memory
WYSE Emulation:
- Create Viewport Command: changes row and columns
- Select 80/132 Column Command: changes columns
- Select 24/25/43/43 Row Command: changes rows

If the row, column, page length, screen length does not match the host (operating system and application), the application
may not display correctly.
