Description
This diskette provides the CD-ROM driver for DOS/Windows 3.1 users.
This diskette enables or updates the CD-ROM drive function of the following ThinkPad computers:
- ThinkPad 365XD
- ThinkPad 380D, 385D, 380ED, 385ED, 380XD, 385XD, 380Z
- ThinkPad 390, 390E
- ThinkPad 570
- ThinkPad 600, 600E
- ThinkPad 760CD, 760LD, 760ED, 760ELD, 760E*, 760EL*
- ThinkPad 760XD, 760XL
- ThinkPad 765D, 765L*
- ThinkPad 770, 770E, 770ED, 770X, 770Z
- ThinkPad i Series 1720, i Series 1721

* For 760E/760EL, only models with CD-ROM capable Ultra Bay.
* For 765D/765L, only models with CD-ROM capable Ultra Bay.

Installing the CD-ROM Device Driver
1. Start DOS.
2. Insert theCDROM Driver Diskette into the diskette drive.
3. Type "A:UINSTALL" and press enter.
4. Select "Install IBM ThinkPad CD-ROM Driver for DOS/Windows at the Installation Option Screen
5. After the installation is complete, remove the diskette from the diskette drive and restart the computer.

-(Fix) IDE CDROM access speed becomes very slow if it is attached to DOCK1, DOCK2 or SelectaDock in case of DOS, Windows 3.1, or Windows 95 Real DOS mode.
