TP Selectadock I,II - Installing PCMCIA Support

How to configure the SelectaDock I & II for PCMCIA support. This document provides instructions for Windows 3.1x, and Windows 95.
Windows 3.1x:
ThinkPad 760 E/X:
1. Click on "File", then "Run", then type "sysedit".
2. Select the CONFIG.SYS file.
3. Locate the "DEVICE=C:\ThinkPad\IBMDSS14.SYS" or "DEVICEHIGH=C:\ThinkPad\IBMDSS14.SYS".
4. Is there a /D after the entry? If not add it.
5. Reboot system to make changes active. You should now have 4 slots in PC-Card Director.
Windows 95:
ThinkPad 760E/X, 765:
1. Click on "Start", then "Settings", and then "Control Panel".
2. Doubleclick on the "System" Icon, then "Device Manager" Tab.
3. Click on "PCMCIA Socket".
4. Should have the two of following entry: "PCIC or Compatible PCMCIA Controller on IBM System".
5. If not, remove both, shutdown, and remove from Dock or Port Rep.
6. Reboot standalone and Reinstall the PCMCIA Drivers for the ThinkPad from PCTPGO95.EXE. You may create this from diskette factory or download it from either the PCCO BBS or Web site.
7. Shutdown and reinstall in dock and allow it to redetect the pcmcia controller.
8. Repeat steps 1-4.
9. If the either controller has a red X, doubleclick on that controller.
10. Put a check mark in the usage box and click ok, this should launch the pc-card wizard. Click the default boxes until it prompts you to restart the system.
