PURPOSE:
The purpose of this ECA is to provide rework and labor cost to install the TV out card/Feature, add the external cable and some miscellaneous parts to the AAP models 2645-A5U and Bxx units.
A very small number of these models TP600E 2645-A5U/Bxx systems, were shipped without the TV-Out card/feature installed.
The repair policy for this ECA will be "Fix On Contact." The ECA implementation is for US Only!

PHYSICAL CHECK:
The implementation of this ECA shall be to the Thinkpad AAP model machine types 2645 model A5U and the list of Models listed below.
The AAP units are non-standard configurations that are assembled & software configured by the Authorized Dealer/Reseller.

The following identification must be made before this ECA can be implemented.
The TV-Out connection can be located at the base of the machine to the left of the FDD connector; and, between the FDD connector and the Lid release switch.
Systems with the TV-Out feature missing will have a small round plastic plug covering the cable connection. If this plug is on the machine the TV-Out feature has not been installed.

No software modification, BIOS update, or driver update is needed for this ECA implementation.
