Aptiva - Returning to DOS 5.0 after installing MS-DOS 6.22

When you installed the MS-DOS 6.22 Upgrade, you were given the option to create an MS-DOS 6.22 Uninstall diskette during installation. You cannot use the Uninstall diskette if you have done any of the following since installing the MS-DOS 6.22 Upgrade:
Repartitioned or reformatted your harddrive.
Deleted or moved either of the two DOS hidden system files (MSDOS.SYS and IO.SYS).
Compressed the drive. If you have done this, you need to uncompress the harddrive before the uninstall process will work.
If you created the Uninstall diskette, do the following
1. Place the Uninstall diskette in the A: drive.
2. Enter the following at the C:\> prompt: A:UNINSTAL
3. When asked whether you want to remove MS-DOS 6.22, enter: "R".
4. Follow the instructions on the screen using the Uninstall diskette that was created during the MS-DOS 6.22 installation.
