Applicable to: World-Wide
Other considerations when using your ThinkPad 1720:
- The HDD is designed to be upgradable. It is not designed to be removed and reinserted on a regular basis. Repeated and frequent removal, for purposes other than to upgrade for greater capacity, may cause damage to the system.
-
- At initial time of installation or after complete power removal (both AC and battery), the computer must be powered on once for the Wake on LAN set enabled to be functional.
-
- Remote boot from PCMCIA network card is not supported.
-
- Boot from storage PC card (PCMCIA ATA Boot) in the PCMCIA slot is not supported.
-
- Flash Over LAN function of LAN Client Control Manager is not supported.
