TP 760 - LCD "Ghosting" Problem
Applicable to: World-Wide
Symptom:
Distorted characters or a "Ghosting" effect may be seen on TP760 LCD.(FRU 29H9226)
Problem Isolation Aids:
LCD has been replaced by FRU 29H9226 containing LCD assembly Part Number 73H6599.
Fix:
A new video card FRU may be required Part Number 83H7108. The Recommended LCD/VIDEO combinations is as follows
LCD FRU LCD MANUFACTURING P/N VIDEO CRD FRU
29H9226 29H9029(OLD LEVEL) 29H9028
29H9226 73H6599(NEW LEVEL) 83H7108
All new systems are shipping with the new combination.
