Aptiva - How to disable numeric data processor

Applicable to: World-Wide

To disable the numeric data processor in Windows 95, go to the device manager and perform the following steps:
1. Click once on System Devices to highlight.

2. Expand System Devices by clicking on the + sign to the left.

3. Select Numeric data processor and click on Properties.

4. Select "Never use the numeric data processor" then click OK.

The system will ask you to reboot the system. Do this now.

The Numeric data processor is now disabled.
