Aptiva - 2140/2142 Considerations - Aptiva Photo Director

Errors when launching "KODAK Picture Network" or "KODAK.COM" icons in Photo Director. Detail: These icons are links to Internet sites. If the customer has not yet set up an ISP, and dialup networking, an error will occur when the default browser attempts to load the page. Answer / Workaround: Before launching these applications, setup and logon to the ISP to avoid the errors. Severity: 3 Preload(s): Both

Reinstall Tour during session when the Tour was run. Detail: If you Reinstall the Tour during the same session when the Tour has been run, you'll receive a prompt for "read-only file apdtour.exe". If you say yes to replace it, the install program dies. This only happens if the tour has been run since the last reboot so the chances that someone will see this is slim. Answer / Workaround: If the user has run the Tour and now wants to reinstall it, they should reboot prior to reinstalling to avoid this problem. Severity: 4 Preload(s): Both
