IBM PC300PL - LANDesk errors after installation of DMI for Windows 95

SYMPTOM:
After installing Desktop Management Interface (DMI) under Windows95, LANDesk Client Manager (LDCM) may return the following, or similar errors upon restarting Windows 95:

"LDFxOs LDCM File- could not register with service layer"
"Unable to register management"
"AC warning... low disk space"

PROBLEM ISOLATION AIDS:
After DMI for Windows 95 is installed, it places itself in the PATH statement ahead of LANDesk's directory. In order for both programs to work properly, LANDesk's directory must appear in the PATH statement ahead of DMI's.

FIX:
Using a DOS or Windows 95 text editor, swap the directories \sva\dmi\bin and \dmi\win32\bin in the PATH statement in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file.
