IBM IntelliStation/IBM PC - Unable to install full size ISA/PCI adapters

SYMPTOM:
When attempting to install a full length/size ISA or PCI adapter into either ISA Slot or PCI Slot 1 on the riser card, the CPU and CPU brackets prevent the adapter from being inserted.
PROBLEM ISOLATION AIDS:
This tip applies to the following IBM systems:
IBM PC300PL Series 6862/6892 Systems
IBM PC300GL Series 6275/6285 Systems
IBM IntelliStation E Pro Series 6893 Systems
FIX:
The system board must be withdrawn 1 to 2 inches to prevent the CPU and CPU brackets from interfering with the insertion of the adapter card.
Refer to user publication "Installing Options in Your Personal Computer" for instructions on removing and re-installing the system board.
