TP 600,770E/ED - Cannot uninstall Intel LAN Desk Client Manager from ThinkPad Customization Center

SYMPTOM:
After installing Intel LAN Desk Client Manager from the IBM ThinkPad Configuration Center, you cannot Uninstall. The error message displayed is ' Unable to locate the installation log file. Uninstallation will not continue. '
CONFIGURATION:
Any ThinkPad 600 or 770E/ED using the ThinkPad Customization Center to uninstall Intel LAN Desk Client Manager.
SOLUTION:
To remove the application follow the procedure outlined below:
1. Click on Start, then Settings and then Control Panel.
2. Click on Add/Remove Programs.
3. Select Intel LAN Desk Client from the list and then select the Add/Remove button.
