TP 380XD,385XD,560X,600,770/E/ED - PointCast will not uninstall

SYMPTOM:
ThinkPads preloaded with PointCast will not run the PointCast uninstall utility. When Uninstall is run from either the PointCast supplied uninstall utility or the ThinkPad Customization Center, The message "PointCast was not found on this computer" is displayed.
CONFIGURATION:
Any ThinkPad preloaded with PointCast.
SOLUTION:
Open the PointCast application at least once. The first time PointCast is run, you will go into the PointCast Setup Wizard. On the first screen of the Wizard, select the Cancel button on the bottom row. Select Yes on the next screen that asks 'are you sure you want to cancel the setup ?' You will now be able to run the PointCast uninstall.
