PHYSICAL CHECK:
System must have inverter card FRU P/N84G0483 and an intermittent LCD blanking condition to be eligible for this ECA.
PREREQUISITES: NONE
COMPANION: NONE

DETAIL:
The 2524 730TE systems inverter card has been reworked to correct a condition that may intermittently shut off the LCD back light. When this occurs the LCD will blank (no image.) The information is still there, but it can not be seen when the back light is off.
To solve the problem replace the inverter card FRU P/N84G0483 with FRU P/N10L1519. The old level FRU is now subbed to the new level FRU.
NOTES:
This ECA's expiration date is 06/30/1999.
Order all FRU parts locally, and record Time and Material to service code 33, ECA 002, and OTHER OFFICE 990.
