IBM PC300GL (Type 6272, 6282, 6284) - Intermittent 164 POST errors/Incorrect Memory count

SYMPTOM:
After upgrading the system with a 64MB Non-Parity EDO DIMM OBI (Options By IBM) memory option P/N 76H0326, the system exhibits intermittent 164 POST memory count errors.
PROBLEM ISOLATION AIDS:
This tip applies to the following machine types preconfigured with a 32MB Non-Parity SDRAM DIMM:
IBM PC300GL Series 6272/6282
IBM PC300GL Series 6284
The affected 64MB Non-Parity EDO DIMM can be identified by the following part numbers and header code:
Vendor: Samsung (SEC) Header Code: Y13WM
OBI Part Number 76H0326
IBM Part Number 40H9050
FRU Part Number 42H2830
Affected DIMMs will also contain a device part number suffix of "AS-xx." Unaffected DIMMs will contain a part number suffix of "BS-xx."
FIX:
In systems exhibiting the intermittent 164 POST error after upgrading with the 64MB Non-Parity EDO DIMM identified above, replace the DIMM with FRU P/N42H2830.
