Now the popular IBM PC Server 330 features 333 MHz (A) and 300 MHz Pentium II processor technology to power mainstream, compute-intensive network applications to higher levels of throughput. These new PC Server 330 models contain a either a 333 MHz or 300 MHz Pentium II processor, and has been updated with a 12X CD-ROM drive, and enhanced driver support for the integrated ServeRAID II Ultra SCSI controller.

The PC Server 330 provides excellent server functionality and scalability. The 333 MHz and 300 MHz Pentium II processor have an onboard 512 KB L2 cache with error checking and correcting (ECC) function. A second processor slot allows upgrading to a second Pentium II processor for demanding applications requiring symmetrical multiprocessing (SMP). Other features include 64 MB of ECC memory, 10 drive bays (six hot-swap), six adapter slots, and onboard ServeRAID II and Wide Ultra SCSI controller for flexible data storage solutions. A world-wide, voltage-sensing 350-watt power supply provides sufficient power to handle full configurations.

Serviceablity and systems management support are key factors when choosing your next server. The PC Server 330 contains an I2C interface that with a IBM PC Server Advanced Systems Management Adapter (standard on Model 21Y) and Netfinity Manager allows you to control your server through Remote POST Console, Remote Diagnostics, and Dial-in/Dail-out functions. Serviceability features include a side door for easy access to internal components, hot-swap hard disk bays, and ROM-based diagnostics.
