Aptiva - Error loading picclip.vbx when Aptiva Guide starts

Question:
I recovered my original software but the Aptiva Guide does not load because of an error loading picclip.vbx. How can I correct this error?

Answer:
If you have recently recovered your original software but are now experiencing an 'error loading picclip.vbx' when the Aptiva
Guide starts then these instructions will help:

1. Close any programs that you may have running.
2. Click on "START" and choose "SHUTDOWN" and select "RESTART THE COMPUTER IN MS-DOS MODE" followed by "YES".
3. At the C:\> prompt type 



COPY  C:\APTIVA\PICCLIP.VBX  C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM

and press "ENTER".
4. The computer should respond with 'One File(s) Copied'. If so, press Ctrl-Alt-Del to reset the computer. Once Windows 95 loads, the Aptiva Guide should work again.
