Aptiva-PS/1 - How do I use the RMDIR/RD command?

Following is the correct syntax for the RMDIR (RD) command which is used to remove directories:
RMDIR [drive:][path] OR
RD [drive:][path]
For example, to remove the TEST directory from the A: drive(assuming all files have already been deleted from it), you would use the following command:
RD A:\TEST
This command will not work if there are any files or directories in the directory that you are trying to delete. If you are using DOS 6.0 or later versions, you can use the DELTREE command to delete a directory that contains files and other directories. The command to do this is the following:
DELTREE [drive:][path]
Example:
DELTREE A:\TEST
