Aptiva - 2139 Graphics issues in BattleZone while using graphical hardware acceleration

Symptom:
Graphics issues such as
-sun half hidden by sky texture
-textures overlap green square action cursor
-seams are visible between ground textures
-explosions appear to go through outcroppings
-lens flares are discolored
are detected during the Mars Mission while using graphical hardware acceleration.
Resolution:
This is a limitation of the ATI Rage Pro 3D video chipset.
