CD-ROM Replacement
If you ordered a MKE CR-504 8X SCSI CD-ROM drive (FRU number 73H2601), you may receive a 12X SCSI CD-ROM drive (FRU number 93H8055).
If you are replacing the 8X CD-ROM drive with a 12X CD-ROM drive, discard the CD-ROM 16/8 bit SCSI converter currently connected to the 8X CD-ROM drive. The converter is not needed to connect the 12X CD-ROM drive to the system.
