Aptiva - Cannot print from Ring Central with selected Hewlett-Packard printers

Summary:
Owners of selected Hewlett-Packard printers may experience difficulties printing from Ring Central or from other applications once Ring Central is open. An update to Ring Central has been developed to resolve this incompatibility. This document describes the affected printers and includes a link to the update file.
Symptom:
Unable to print from Ring Central or, after opening Ring Central, cannot print from any application with the following Hewlett-Packard ( HP) LaserJet or DeskJet printers:
HP OfficeJet - using drivers from diskette, unknown version
HP OfficeJet - using HP DeskJet500 drivers from the preload
HP DeskJet 682 - with drivers from diskette, version 8.0
HP DeskJet 682 - using HP DeskJet500 drivers from preload
HP LaserJet 4L - using drivers from the preload
Solution:
A new patch diskette has been created to fix this problem. This diskette will install an update to the Ring Central Communications application to correct problems with printing on some HP DeskJet Printers. Please click here to download the software (file RCHPFIX.EXE):
