TP 390E - Other considerations

Other considerations when running your ThinkPad 390E.
- The HDD is designed to be customer upgradeable. It is not designed to be removed and reinserted on a regular basis. Repeated and frequent removal, for purposes other than to upgrade for greater capacity, may cause damage to the system.
- Pulse dialing of ThinkPad Modem is not supported in the following countries:
- Ireland
- Portugal
- Please note that any supported operating system, when installed on this ThinkPad, will only support features supported by the original operating system version.
- At initial installation or after complete power removal (both AC and battery), the computer must be powered on once to enable Wake on LAN.
- Remote boot from PCMCIA network card is not supported.
- Boot from storage PC card (PCMCIA ATA Boot) in the PCMCIA slot is not supported.
- Flash-over-LAN function for LANClient Control Manager (LCCM) is not supported.
