IdeaScan Color Flatbed Scanner - Aptiva M and A series systems and the EPSON 600

Environment:
Aptiva M or A series system, IdeaScan Color Flatbed Scanner (0275011), Scanner Driver V1.0, EPSON 600
Symptom:
When the system's parallel port mode is set to EPP and the buttons are enabled; the printer ejects blank sheets until the print job is canceled.
Temporary Solution:
Disable the buttons or change the parallel port mode to SPP. Disable the buttons by selecting the Disable Buttons feature in EZ station. The buttons on the scanner will no longer launch the applications, however the virtual buttons in EZ station will launch the applications. Close the EZ station window to save the new setting. Slower system performance and slower scanning time may be experienced with the parallel port mode set to SPP.
