Aptiva - 2142 - How to connect CD-ROM audio cable

On this model system there are actually two CD-ROM audio cables. One is located inside the media console and the other is located inside the tower.
In the media console:
Locate the four pin audio cable connection on the back of the CD-ROM drive, this is normally labeled AUDIO or CD-AUDIO, and connect one end of the audio cable.
Locate the four pin audio cable connection on the media console client card, this is normally labeled JP4, and connect the other end of the audio cable.
In the tower:
On the media console host adapter locate socket J11, circled in red below, and connect one end of the audio cable.
On Pentium MMX systems:
On the motherboard locate socket J30, circled in red below, and connect the other end of the audio cable.
On Pentium II systems:
On the motherboard locate socket J11, circled in red below, and connect the other end of the audio cable.
