Below is a list of considerations for running Windows 95 on your ThinkPad 1720
- You might find some problems when you dock your computer to the Port Replicator. To fix them, visit the following Web site: http://www.pc.ibm.com/support

- When the system unit is connected to the Port Replicator with Advanced EtherJet Feature, some PC Card modems may not work after the computer resumes normal operation from suspend, standby, or hibernate mode.

- Some SCSI cards or ATA cards may not work when installed in Port Replicator with Advanced EtherJet Feature after the following sequence:

- Put your computer into standby mode

- Resume normal operation

- Put your computer into suspend or hibernate mode

- Resume normal operation again

- Some Combo cards and CardBus cards installed in the Port Replicator with Advanced EtherJet Feature may not work after you put your computer into suspend mode from the Windows Start button and then resume normal operation.

- PC cards may not be recognized after you warm dock your computer to the Port Replicator with Advanced EtherJet Feature.

- When you insert the PC card into the Port Replicator with Advanced EtherJet Feature while the computer is in suspend mode, the computer reboots automatically instead of resuming normal operation.

- System with Madge smart ringnote MK2 (Token Ring) PC card hangs after resume from hibernation.
